Dear Sepal users,

I trust that you all are doing quite well!

We have been using this group mainly for sharing issues we face while using our great sepal platform, however, it would be wonderful if we started sharing successes and use cases as well. So I encourage you all to share anything that can benifit others.

Let me start off by sharing this use case of accessing gee image assets through the platform

If you plan to try it out, please note:

• Depending on the data you are accessing, you might need to manually configure the legend. For this example, I got the legend from gee and saved it as csv (https://developers.google.com/earth-engine/datasets/catalog/ESA_WorldCover_v200#bands)
• When you retrieve to sepal workspace, the output is tiled into smaller images with an associated vrt file. You need to download all the tif files and the vrt, load the vrt in your GIS and export it as a tif to have one merged file.
