Dear Sepal Team,
The Class change recipe is not working in Sepal.

Kindly advise. I have attached a screenshot of the error message that I received regarding the same issue.

Regards.

Dear Edward

Sorry for the issue. At what stage of the process does this error occur? Have you tried accessing SEPAL through an incognito window? Sometimes this error is caused by some issues with the browser and cache. Can you access SEPAL at all? Can you perform any other operations?

Thanks

Hi Erik,
I am able to access Sepal the only issue is with the class change recipe. All the other recipes are working fine except for class change its the only one that is giving the error message.

Regards,
Edward.

Dear Edward,

Please note that the class change recipe is intended to analyze categorical data such as land cover classifications of two different time periods. In that case, the recipe should run with no errors. May you please confirm if that is the case, otherwise I can support you further.

Thank you!
Teo

Hi Teo,
Thanks for the feedback. However, I did exactly what you have suggested but then the issue that I am having is the attached  error message that I keep getting from sepal each time I try to run it after adding the two optical mosaics that I have created for two time series which are 2019 and 2023.

I would be glad if at all you can assist.

Regards,
Edward.

Dear Edward,

Like I mentioned above, the class change recipe is meant to analyze categorical data and an optical mosaic is not categorical. I advise you to classify your mosaics using the classification recipe to obtain for example a forest - nonforest classification (depending on your interests), then you can use the class change recipe. This should run with no errors.

Otherwise, if you are interested in performing the change analysis on the optimal mosaics, you can use the index change recipe also available under the recipes.

Good luck,
Teo
