Konferensi Penyiaran Indonesia merupakan kegiatan kerjasama antara Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia (KPI) dengan 12 Perguruan Tinggi Negeri di Indonesia. Dilaksanakan pertama kali pada tahun 2019. Konferensi Penyiaran Indonesia pada tahun 2023 diadakan di Medan lewat kerjasama KPI dengan Universitas Sumatera Utara.
Salah satu aplikasi nanoteknologi dalam bidang farmasi adalah terkait sistem penghantaran obat (drug delivery). Penelitian tentang sistem penghantaran obat yang rasional (rasional delevery), penghanataran obat bertarget dan bahan-bahan farmasi berbasiskan nanoteknologi terus berkembang dan semakin maju. Ini melibatkan identifikasi dari target tepat sasaran (sel dan reseptor) yang berhubungan dengan kondisi klinik spesifik dan pemilihan nanokarier yang tepat untuk mencapai respon yang diperlukan namun meminimalkan efek samping. Seiring dengan itu pengembangan metode dalam merancang system penghantaran dan bentuk sediaan berbasiskan teknologi nano sangat bervariasi serta mendorong berkembangnya berbagai alat-alat (instrument) baik untuk proses preparasi atau pembuatan sediaan nano maupun untuk proses analisis. Berdasarkan hal ini tentu para praktisi dalam dunia kesehatan khususnya farmasi terutama kalangan akademisi yaitu dosen dan mahasiswa dituntut untuk terus mengikuti dan meng-update perkembangan dan penelitian tentang nanomedisin saat ini. Dan tidak hanya itu tapi juga dituntut untuk memahami berbagai alat-alat yang diperlukan dalam penelitian nanomedisin dan mampu melakukan preparasi sediaan, mengoperasionalkan alat dan mengintepretasikan data hasil analisa. Untuk mencapai itu maka salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh Laboratorium PUI Nanomedisin bersama Fakultas Farmasi USU adalah menyelenggarakan seminar tentang Berbagai tehnik/metode praktis pengembangan sistem penghantaran obat berbasiskan teknologi nano dan workshop tentang cara penggunaan (operational) alat-alat nano, memahami interpretasi data dan pemeliharaan alat.
The COVID-19 pandemic affected people globally as well as the process of routine comprehensive care necessary for chronic patients due to disruption of delivery care. Nurses have critical responsibilities in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, primary recognition and preparation for the increasing threat, managing staffing challenges together with the well-being of nurses are of greatest importance. Strategies to promote physical distancing while not negotiating continuous nursing education and patient care are also essential. With prompt actions and synchronized efforts, risk of spreading the virus within the healthcare sector can be kept at the minimum. Pandemic COVID-19 has forced the health care system industry faces extraordinary challenges. Several health care institutions that were under pressure to survive were forced to make changes from financial savings, technological upgrades to operational improvements. This is necessary to achieve effective and efficient health service delivery during and after a pandemic. Some of the strategies implemented include online-based development for primary and tertiary health services as well as strengthening collaboration between health professionals and health related services to achieve optimal service. A coherent and integrated healthcare system with a high degree of proactive care and high technology with tele health can help initiate early diagnostics and address chronic diseases in new ways that empower the patients to be involved in the handling of their own disease during the COVID-19 pandemic. In recent years, mathematical analysis is one of the main issues in research in the field of Mathematics. This is mainly because the topics in this field have several important applications, especially in the fields of sciences and engineering. For example, efforts to describe the motion of the planets led to the appearance and development of the theory of calculus and the theory of differential equations. The problem in Civil Engineering and cartography gave rise to the Calculus of variations and differential geometry. Modern science needs continuous to increase the development of mathematical analysis.
For developing the field of mathematical analysis and its applications, researchers need to be actively involved in research programs that address emerging theoretical needs in micrology, materials science, photonics, quantum field theory, complex fluids, and condensed matter physics. For this matter, we from the Master and Doctoral Degree Programs in Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara, in collaboration with the Indonesian Mathematical Analysis Community (KAMINDO) took a part to initiative and organize an international seminar on Mathematical Analysis, to discuss new developments and its applications. In this case, we organize this activity in the form of the "International Conference on Mathematical Analysis and Its Applications".
