Its a shame that such a great game became unplayable. I just can't manually finish some battles. The game crashes when the loading bar after the battle comes to the end and the game should return to the campaign map, but instead I'm back to desktop with opened steam library. This happens to random battles, no pattern. Sometimes I can finish the battle manually if I try again, sometimes it keeps crashing again and again.
Same issue here. I'm in a state where any saves I produce from this game state forward trigger the issue. Also happens when I load from a fresh start (not after a battle) on these save files. Also happy to share crashes/broken saves if someone points me to instructions to upload. I'm trying to upload a ZIP, but it always says "Something went wrong, please try again."

We can't take .mdmp files on the forum at the moment file sizes are too large, what we need take is a save.file before you encounter the crash, your DxDiag and your Modification.log that way we can generate the crash internally - In the meantime here is our troubleshooting guide (Please Click Here)

I can see from your diag that your drivers are out of date, please look into updating them as this can often cause crashes like this

Your callstack is likely a different issue, as you can't upload your save.file I'd like you to raise this to Sega Support as they can better assist with the problems you're experiencing, and receive larger file sizes, they'll need your dmp.file too from your crash report logs, this will be the one that generates directly after the crash happens, they'll also need the link to this thread so they can see why we have forward you to them for additional support.

Sort of. Updating drivers just made things worse, other games became unplayable. I tried a restore point but that crashed windows. I then reinstalled windows and only the drivers I had before. WH3 works without crashes now, but because I don't know what the reason was, I expect trouble to come back at some point.
So I am on turn 98 Of my Chaos Dwarf Campaign playing as azgorh. no issues up until turn 98. Doesnt seem to be a common thread that i can place but the autosave on turn 97 works everytime no issues. So whatever it is that causing a crash must have happend on turn 98 maybe its happening in the fog of war. or its an audio issue but here is my save file and crash dump. To repeat the issue you can simply load the latest save on turn 98 or the quick save as well. but the autosave on turn 97 should work just fine.

Ok so on turn 97 I believe I confederate Servants of the Conclave. (pretty sure thats the name) using the chorf mechanic (the tower thing forgot the name) I am uploading 2 files where I do not confed them and everything seems to load fine.
On a side note i still can not* load the crash log in a compressed folder but I think the confederation might be the culprit. Let me know if I uploaded the wrong save files again and if there is anything else I can do.

Confederation of the servants of conclave through the Tower of Zharr seems to be fine and I was able to move on through your turn 97 save with no issues, so could be something else at play. If you've had or removed mods at any point in this campaign it might be worth verifying your files through steam too.

remeber confederation works fine. it only crashes if you try to load the save. can you confirm that if you confed on turn 97 and complete the endturn and save. does it crash if you try to load that turn 98.

I wanted to add my experience on this as well as I've encountered a crash playing the first battle against Skaven with the Markus Wulfhart campaign in Immortal Empires. I can autoresolve the battle fine, but as the map loads when the bar gets to about the middle it crashes. Tried a new campaign, tried reloading the save, both seem to result in a crash on the first battle. I've included a save file, my modified.log (blank) and DxDiag.
There is, and has been in my experience but worse recently, a terrible issue with trying to load into battle. Not from the hangar screen but particularly from the vehicle selection / pre-battle screen. I select my vehicle, press battle and just sit there, waiting, sometimes almost a minute. Just last battle was enough to make me type this post.
Last battle I was already behind in joining the battle, and then I had to sit there waiting to enter, and when I finally entered the timer showed over 3 minutes had already gone by and as soon as I saw my tank I started getting shot and blown up by a helicopter, at our spawn. I looked around and there was about 4 other tanks destroyed in our spawn.
Is the loading in time issue a well known issue now or does it need to be a bug report? Is there a known server issue? Could it be a console issue overall , even though some pc users are complaining too?
As an xbox user, we dont spawn as fast as pc, i could be in a squad with a pc player and he wiĺl in every match spawn before me and he will be moving down the runway as i spawn.
This makes me wonder if there is latency in the server feeding consoles. Makes me wonder why every time i pop round a corner in my tank and i know they are there. The enemy always get the first shot in, or if me and an enemy are trying to shot each other over a ridge and i can only see the top of there turret, they allways get me first even if i do binocular shot.
Every consolehas plzyer has this lag issue, it well known, its even mentioned in xbox store in WT reviews.
You might be able to edit the dead zone on your triggers and there is a option to not use recommend dead zone in options. I dont know about PlayStation but on xbox we have 2 stage triggers and you can adjust each stage when it bits etc in WT settings.
I have tried contacting SEGA and they told me to do a clean install of the driver, but the clean install is not possible because the drivers page only has DHC drivers, which the clean install support page says the user should not use for a clean install because it bypasses computer manufacturer settings.
