I'm having the same issue. I tried to combine multiple files yesterday and I'm able to select the files I want to combine and I'm also able to name the file, however, when I click "Create", everything disappears. I seem to be the only one in my office that has this issue. We currently use Nitro Pro 11.0.3.134. Can I please get some help with this issue?

I need some help in combining files. I am able to select files and name the file, however when I click on "create" the screen disappears. Nothing gets created. I just found out that another individual on my team is having the same issues.

5. I was now able to see some progress in combining documents, however, it takes for ever to try and combine a document. Version 11 was not letting me combine Word and PDF docs. It started to tell me there was an error.

7. I ran the repair of the program and restarted my computer and I'm still having the same issues. I am able to now see a pop up screen of the progress to combine the files (before i couldn't, it would just go away). However, none of files are being combined.

Use the Combine Files tool to merge Word, Excel, PowerPoint, audio, or video files, web pages, or existing PDFs. Acrobat lets you preview and arrange the documents and pages before creating the file. You can delete unwanted pages and move individual pages from a document anywhere among the combined pages. Acrobat converts the pages of the various files into sequential pages of a single PDF.

Select Add files from the horizontal bar from the upper left. You get options to add a folder of files, a web page, any currently open files, items in the clipboard, pages from a scanner, an email, or a file you combined previously.

In the List view, select the column name you want to sort by. Select again to sort in reverse order. The list's order of files reflects the files' order in the combined PDF. Sorting rearranges the pages of the combined PDF.

If any source files are already PDFs, the Smaller File Size option applies the Reduce File Size feature to those files. The Reduce File Size feature is not applied if either the Default File Size or Larger File Size option is selected.

You can incorporate PDFs into other files that support Object Linking and Embedding (OLE), such as InDesign or Word files. These files are called OLE container documents. Later, if you edit the original PDF, the OLE features in the container application update the embedded file in the container document to reflect your changes.

I'd recommend that people use the bookdown package for creating reports from multiple R Markdown files. It adds a lot of useful features like cross-referencing which are very useful for longer documents.

I am new to using Jump so I assume this is a basic question. I have approximately five different jump files with data. I would like to combine all the data into one file and create a script to show all the data on one graph. I attached the files I would like to combine.

First of all make sure all of your columns have consistent names then simply open all of your files and use the Tables>Concatenate capability in JMP. I renamed your columns A, B, C, D, E, F to simplify and then just concatenated them in order using the dialog box test1, test2, test3, test4, test5 and obtained a combined table with all of your 1,035,487 records. I also checked the feature to add a column for the source as well as the maintain column formulas.

Here's a powerful approach to importing data into Power BI Desktop: If you have multiple files that have the same schema, combine them into a single logical table. This popular technique has been made more convenient and more expansive.

To combine binary files in Power Query Editor, select Content (the first column label) and choose Home > Combine Files. Or you can just select the Combine Files icon next to Content.

The scope of your selection in an Excel workbook will affect the behavior of combine binaries. For example, you can select a specific worksheet to combine that worksheet, or choose the root to combine the full file. Selecting a folder combines the files found in that folder.

Hi, I have a form created in Adobe LiveCycle, and I need to be able to take this form and merge it with some PDF forms. When I go try to "Combine Files into PDF" It says the XML form cannot be combine. Is there a way around this? Using the "Create a Portfolio" is not an option.

Hi,
to explain why you cannot combine the XFA PDF with others:
Assembling PDFs only works with the same "type" of PDF.
The most common form of PDFs is what I call the Print-PDF. That is what the majority of PDFs out there are.
Then there are special variants such as XFA PDFs. These need a plug-in in Adobe Reader or Acrobat to render them in their final form while being opened.
Because these two are so different, it is not possible to combine them in Acrobat.

You can "flatten" your XFA PDF (it will not be a form with editable fields afterwards) and create a Print-PDF. Then you can combine them.
To flatten them you could for example use the "Microsoft Print as PDF" (which probably works better than converting to Word).

Dynamic Interactive Forms cannot be combined with other PDFs. You will need either LiveCycle Assembler or LiveCycle Output to flatten the interactive form, and then it can be merged with other non interactive pdfs.

If you don't have LiveCycle, one thing you can do in Acrobat is print the form to the Adobe Printer, which will create a non interactive version of your form, and this PDF could be combined with other PDFs.

what type of interactive form are you trying to combine? The following document outlines the constraints and rules around combining Form based PDFs. See chapter 4 in this documentation here: _US/livecycle/11.0/ddxRef.pdf for LiveCycle Assembler.

I was able to figure out how to combine an XML "pdf wrapped" file and a regular pdf without losing the editable boxes. Open both files you want to combine. Highlight all the pages of the XML document, right click, and select "Extract Pages". Extract them all into a new document. Then just select the pages and drag them to the other pdf doc. Any editable form fields will still be there.

Hi thankyou for your replies I have checked the supplied PDf files and they have a tree structure error this is causing the problem made my own PDf from indesign works fine with those so the supplied files are no good thankyou for your help.

When using join the outcome is as follows the first 16pp (File 1) followed by the same 16pp (File 1) and then the rest of the pages from (FIle 2) 17-40 no matter what files I use the outcome is the same, we need this to work for about 200 PDF files

I have a requirement to create a flat file from the XML. The Flat file is having Header and Details section(Both Header and Details sections are of fixed format). So i am using one fixed formatter for header and another one for the details, But the problem is how to combine these 2 different documents into 1 document to form a flat file.
Is there a way i can merge them together into one flat file?

It would be great if Wavelab would automatically associate .L.R. and .1.2. We routinely receive folders full of dual mono files on a project, and they have to be added to a stereo track of a montage song by song. Other programs (PT) treat them as pairs by default so all of the songs can all be added to a single stereo track with the push of one button. If we could File/Open, navigate to a folder, and select all, Add To Montage to same track or multiple tracks (as we can with Stereo files), it would be a big time saver.
