Quick question?

All I need to know how does Google cache CMS websites?

Any other website I have used in the past has been fine, but when it
comes to CMS I have trouble.

Now I don't mean getting cached I mean getting a page rank.
I am very concerned about the content I have on my site and the
backward links I have created because if I do all this work am I
wasting my time with a CMS based websites.

Anyone can help me with how Google caches these websites... please do
tell.

P.S I do understand that there is certain areas to place meta tags and
other content for Google to give me a page rank but I actually tried
uploading meta tags the other day using Google to find my site as the
owner so I could submit my pages and get them indexed directly by
Google.
This also didn't seem to work. I am lost.......

It's not that Google handles CMS tools any different, its that CMS tools render pages in ways that Google has difficulty seeing (massive variables in URLs, AJAX, no header tags etc ).  Basically, if your CMS tool isn't SEO friendly, neither will the site it spits out.

http://www.hotbanana.com is a good one but its not cheap.  Also check out http://www.joomla.org .  It's not AS Seo friendly out of the box, but you can tweak it.

Hi Dave,

You are right. Most CMS tools are not Google friendly
because of the way database is used. However, CMS
tools can get around this is by generating static HTML
pages that are SEO friendly. Our Miniweb 2.0
applications are designed to do just that, and they
work!

Absolutely correct Wong.

Garbage in

(insufficient attention given to SEO variables in the CMS)

Garbage out

(generation of pages that violate the tenets of good SEO)
