Position: Java Web Developer

Job Description:

This requires a person with strong JAVA software development experience and will be responsible for the design, testing, and implementation of programming applications based on submitted requests. As a member of the Web Development (Internet) team, this person will work with technical staff, users, and management to design applications and solve business-related problems. He/she will be expected to quickly ramp up on the design and code of existing application and provide support as required.

 

Job Duties

•             Assist in design of web based applications for internal and external websites

•             Develop code for JAVA web applications with Responsive front end design

•             Test and debug applications

•             Develop web services for internal and external consumption

•             Other tasks as management assigns.

 

Job Specifications

•             Technical Degree or 4 Year Degree preferred.

•             3+ years of JAVA application software development.

•             Java, J2EE, JSF, XML/XSL, HTML, JavaScript, Front end frame works such as Zurb

•             Experience developing SOAP and REST web services.

•             Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way

•             Proficiency in system/application design and end-user support

•             Excellent oral and written communication skills

•             Excellent organizational skills

•             Ability to multi-task

•             Strong problem-solving skills
