Last Minute Outbreak this Saturday!

Good morning!

We just received some information regarding a single mother in our
area who is in desperate need of some help this weekend. She said that
she felt that God wanted her to call some area churches and so she
contacted Discovery Church. She has to be moved out of her house this
weekend and has no help, no truck, no way of doing it.

Can we help her?
Do you have access to a truck or a few hours to help?

Please respond ASAP so that we can get back to her and let her know
whether or not we can rally a few trucks and some willing workers.

As soon as I know whether we can fill this need, I will get the
details regarding time and location and send those out to you as
well.

be much help, the seats come out of my van so we could but stuff in
there....not a lot of big stuff, but boxes and things

Wow, what a coincidence.  I also have to have my stuff moved out this weend.  We sold my trailor, and the guy moves in on the 17th, so this will be the last weekend to get the stuff out.  I will be lifting and moving at a different location.

Here is the latest on this Saturday's Outbreak-

We have confimred the details with the woman who requested our help.
She lives in O'Fallon and will not be moving terribly far from her
current residence.

We will meet at Discovery at 12:15 to head over to her place by around
12:30. If you are unable to make it to DC by then, please call Jeremy
at 314/288-8089 for directions to her home.

As I understand it, there are 3 bedrooms to be moved, a washer and
dryer, refrigerator and some living/dining furniture.

She was thrilled to hear we would be able to help. This is such a
great way to be His hands and feet in our community! Thanks so much
for your willingness to help on such short notice. You are a
blessing.

I am in Chicago, so I won't be there but I look forward to hearing how
it goes.
