OASIS Christmas THIS Saturday

This Saturday is our shift to staff the OASIS thrift store as it
provides OASIS clients and their families with free Christmas gifts.

We need 6 people there around 11:45 to work the 12-2 shift helping
clients shop, sort items, count gifts and assist in any restocking or
organizing that the supervising thrift store manager requires.

Can you help?

We also need 2-3 volunteers to serve in the same way this coming
Tuesday night, Dec 11th from 7-9pm.

Again that is:

6 volunteers for Saturday, Dec 8th 12-2pm at the OASIS Boonslick
location.

2-3 volunteers for Tuesday, Dec 11th 7-9pm also at the OASIS Boonslick
location.


This is a great service that OASIS provides its clients with each year
as it provides up to 5 items per family member at absolutely no cost
to the family. It is also a great way to interact with families and
individuals in a less formal way than we are able to do when we are
doing their paperwork and interviews for food each month in the pantry
office.

PLEASE RSVP by Friday noon. We must know if we have this shift covered
ahead of time.
