Urban Farming 2008

This is short notice but we only just received this info. So I'm
passing it on in case anyone might like to or be able to join us again
this year.

Urban Farming in Saint Louis this year is THIS Friday, April 4th!!

We participated in this event last year and had a great time. Visit
the website (www.sentralized.net) to see some video of the work we did
behind a church in the city to start a large garden for them to work
together, learn together and feed their community fresh, healthy
foods.

For more info on the Urban Farming effort visit www.urbanfarming.org.
It is an exciting program that aims at transforming urban areas.

Here is what I know:

11am at BARRETT BROTHERS PARK at the intersection of St. Louis Ave
and Goodfellow in North County.
The site is on Softball Field #2.

With Starbucks as a sponsor there will be drinks and snacks. In the past we were asked to bring whatever small tools or shovels we had, plus of course gloves.
