Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to send out a quick reminder, today is the last day to
register if you will be attending Operation Clean Stream with us next
Saturday. I just called and registered myself and Matt, with Sam, the
volunteer co-ordinator. He was very helpful and friendly. His phone
number is 636 477 6600 ext 286. I look forward to this event, as it
helps us not only serve our local community, but also the environment
and our children's future.

The even details are as follows.

The City of St. Peters needs volunteers to help clean streams located
in St. Peters on Saturday, April 5. The event is part of a countywide
effort to clean streams throughout St. Charles County of trash and
debris. If it rains, the event will be rescheduled to April 12.

This is a great activity for families, Scout groups, church groups,
and individuals wanting to contribute to the well being of their
community. Mayor Len Pagano said, "The volunteers who participate in
cleaning our streams year after year provide a very valuable community
service. The cleanliness and overall quality of our waterways are an
important part of our quality of life. "

Volunteers will check in at 8:30 a.m. at the City Hall West parking
lot to pick up supplies, including gloves and trash bags. Volunteers
should wear appropriate clothing, no flip flops, and are encouraged to
bring trash grabbers to use if they have one. Volunteers will need to
provide their own transportation to their assigned stream segment.

Stream cleaning will take place from 9-11:30 a.m. Volunteers will meet
back at the City Hall West parking lot for a complimentary lunch and
t-shirt.

Pre-registration is required to ensure the necessary supplies are available.

Groups or individuals wanting to help should download a
pre-registration form at www.stpetersmo.net or call ext. 286 at
636.477.6600 or 636.278.2244, no later than Friday, March 28.
