Training dataset

Hello,

I am studying Machine Learning and I am currently working on a project about sentiment text annotation. I have read your paper about the twitter annotation "Twitter Sentiment Classification using Distant Supervision" and I have a question. You are saying that you trained your classifiers using data with emoticons. Is this training set available somewhere ?

Hi Alec,

The dataset seems to be missing the 2 (neutral) data, and is not encoded utf-8.

Any possibility to update it? 

Or is there a newer dataset available?

1. Open your file in Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Apple Numbers, or your program of choice.
2. Click ​​File > Save as​​ and choose the ​​Comma separated values (.csv) format to save the file.
3. Open the CSV file in Sublime Text.
4. In Sublime Text, navigate to ​​File > Save with Encoding > UTF-8*​. This will save the CSV file with UTF-8 encoding.
