Error to load data values

I have generated a process that makes calls to the API-REST to load data to sensors. The sensors are TEXT type.

When I load the data for these variables in some occasions (it seems random) the value that is loaded in the Sentilo is 0, and if I try again to load the value with exactly the same call the loaded value is correct.

I have the Sentilo 1.6.

How can I solve the problem?

Hola Jesús,

We'll need more info to help you:
  • The publish request and the received response
  • The retrieve request and the received response
  • Some screenshots about how the sensor is defined in the catalog and what data is shown in the console.

Without this is difficult to guess what's happening ;(

Thanks !
Sentilo Team.

Hello,

The call to the API-REST is made by a PHP process where the loading of the data is generated. The process collects the file data and makes the calls sequentially.

In the process logs there is no type of error, if we also delete the loaded data and execute the process again with the same file, it is probable that the loading will be successful.

I attach a series of captures of the component, sensor and the log of the loaded data. On this occasion the same value has always been loaded and it can be checked how randomly a 0 value is stored that has not been received.

This problem is repeated in multiple variables, with different values but always of the TEXT type.

Thanks

Hi Jesus,

It seems some of your processes is publishing the "0" value, we dont' see any alternative ...
Check the logs for this "0" requests, it should be the trace of them.
Sorry, we're not helping you too much ... but we seems to be some problem in the data integration itself, not about the platform.

Sentilo Team.

Hello,

We have incorporated more log traces, checking if in any case we make calls to the API-REST of numerical values for TEXT type sensors.
The result is negative, in all the times we send text values but when checking the values in the Sentilo in a random way the value that appears is "0".
Sentilo does not return any type of error and the calls are correctly constructed.
We will update the Sentilo version in case the error is corrected.

Thanks.

Regards

Hi Jesús,

I'm sorry we couldn't help more. Maybe you could add a trace in the api log with the request IP to be sure ther isn't a third party publishing the data.
Anyway, let us know if upgrading the version resolves the problem.

Regards,
Sentilo Team.
