Hi all,

I'm having issues with funcube dongles and my sensorgnome. I've tried re-writing the firmware multiple times and setting the frequency to 166.38 MHz, but when I view the "I am your sensor gnome" page, it verifies that the dongles are connected, yet it reports that they are turned to 0 MHz. Any tips or tricks out there?

Thank you,
Mike T

Hi Mike

Looks like your FCD has incompatible firmware. Back in 2018 or so John B suggested some steps in this email group how to re-flash FCD for a suitable firmware (do a search)

The notes I have from my 2018 experience are attached. HTH

Mike,

I've attached the firmware that we got from John B, in case you can't find it in past threads.

Hooorah, that worked, something fishy about the firmware that FUNcube folks provide. When I installed that firmware, the reporting on the "I am your sensorgnome" page would report 166.38, then do another dongle and the first dongle would switch to 0 while the second would be 166.38.

The firmware you/John B provided works and now all dongles reporting ~166.38 MHz

Thanks Todd!
