Network error handling

Don't understand - I already posted this message once... anyway:

Please help - I've been trying to set up an Arduino temperature monitor but after a random amount of time (polling the results back to Sen.se), it fails. As it's at the posting stage, I assume it's a networking issue. It's connected over a wireless bridge so maybe this is unreliable? Regardless, there must be something (surely) for handling unreliable connections?

I've been trying to get this working for months now and am close to giving up. I so desperately want it to work but can't see any way forward. Anyone else had these problems (and fixed them(!?))
