Doesanyone know if there is an offline trailer version? We are currently looking in to a new network performance monitor for our steppingstone server. The server does not have any internet connection and thus i need an offline trail version.

All solarwinds installers are the trial version and later you install the real license. The offline installer even includes all of the products, at least all of the orion line of products, NPM, SAM, NTA, IPAM, etc. You can even freely install the trail versions along side your licensed versions... so for example you are running NPM, but want to explore SAM... Just install it, go for it. When the trial license runs out, the SAM functions will stop working and you will have a annoying banner at the top letting you know your license has expired. Later you can uninstall it if you don't wish to purchase a license.

Keeping in mind, if this is a production server, there is significant downtime during an install or uninstall... and that noone here recommends installing trial software on a production server... I am just saying you can, not that you should.

So, where can i find this offline installer? The trail version that i downloaded is an online installer and i cant find the offline installer. Concering your remarks on production server, i agree. Our current server is not yet in production.

If you are on one of the following three SolarWinds Orion versions, you are recommended to immediately upgrade the platform to a patched version appropriate for your installed version. Due to the nature of the Sunburst attack, where the code was hidden within genuine application files and function, it is difficult to determine if your environment has been truly compromised. To bring your platform to a level where the vulnerability is removed, based on your installed version being one of those affected, this will require an upgrade activity. There are two principle avenues to take for performing the upgrade:

The migration option will mitigate any potential risk of compromise, by reinstalling Orion on fresh servers, which are inherently clean. The process for this option is not much different to the upgrade, other than the provision of new servers.

If you have previously taken our and SolarWinds advice and disabled Internet access to your Orion server, to perform the upgrades there are two options: centralised upgrade via the web interface of Orion; or the offline installer.

The centralised upgrade via the Orion web UI is the quickest and easiest method to perform a full upgrade, as Orion will effectively self-manage the upgrade and automatically upgrade any scalability engine servers you may have i.e. Additional Polling Engines and Additional Web Servers.

If your installation is fully isolated the offline installer can be downloaded. This is a single file which can be used on all of the role servers. It is necessary to upgrade the Primary Orion server first, then each of the additional role servers, on which the installation can be executed concurrently.

To onboard new devices into your N-central instance, you must upgrade N-central so that you can leverage the new Windows Agent and Windows Probe installers, as those installers include the updated digital certificate. The macOS and Linux Agents are not affected by the updated digital certificate.

If you are running AV Defender, you must upgrade your existing Windows Agents, or update to the latest version of AV Defender (6.6.20.296) to avoid any interruptions in communications between the Windows Agent and AV Defender. For more details, please see the AV Defender-specific note below.

We are also releasing updates to the following services: Automation Manager, AV Defender, Patch Management, MSP Backup, NetPath, and Take Control. Apart from AV Defender (see the service-specific note below), no action is required as those services upgrade automatically.

Existing installations of the Agents and Probes, which are not managing AV Defender, will continue to operate normally. However, the updated digital certificate will only be available in the latest version of the Windows Agent and Windows Probe.

The AV Defender update can be scheduled at an appropriate time by adding a maintenance window to your devices. Updating involves an incremental update of components or modules without the need to remove protection. A reboot may be required based on Installation Status. If you do not want updates or reboots to proceed automatically, you can disable them by removing the appropriate maintenance windows from the device or rule.

Existing backup agents will be automatically updated to 20.11.0.20350 with a new digital certificate. However, based on your specific settings/policies/circumstances, the agent may not be automatically updated in time (for example, if the device is offline). In these cases, you may need to update to the new version manually to keep your backups running as expected. If that scenario applies to you, please complete the following steps:

NetPath agent applications updates are taking place; those updates are happening separately from the upgrade of your N-central server and its Windows Agents and Probes. NetPath is being updated to version 1.15.6.12, and you can check what version is installed on a device via the Asset -> Applications tab of the device.

Patch Management Engine (PME) version 1.2.13 was also released with an up-to-date digital certificate. You can check what PME version is installed on a device via the Patch Status service or the Asset > Applications tab of the device.

Full Install error is: The Cabinet file 'core.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. The could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.

error happens when trying to install Nod32 on windows 7 64bit computer. Have already unregistered and re-registered Windows Installer. Downloaded new .MSI from ESET website. Never used CDROM for this install. Used windows cleanup utility but did not find anything. Created new user account and confirmed permissions are good on Windows temp Folder. Confirmed on properties of .MSI file that it is not blocked. Performed full manual uninstaller with ESET uninstaller and manually cleared ESET from registry. Have searched online and cannot find anymore solutions. Any information would be much appreciated.
