The Parkinson Association of the Rockies and GlaxoSmithKline are
hosting a unique event in Denver to share one personal story, and
lessons learned, about the challenges of caring for a loved one who
has Parkinson’s disease. Lonnie Ali, wife and caregiver to boxing
great Muhammad Ali, will be in Denver next week to share refreshments
and a presentation about her experiences titled “The Role of the
Caregiver in the Successful Treatment of Parkinson's Disease.” The
event is open and free to the public, but seats are limited and
reservations are required. Guests will also have the opportunity to
learn about programs and services offered to Parkinson’s disease
patients and their caregivers and families in the Denver area through
the Parkinson Association of the Rockies. For questions or to RSVP,
