Congratulations to all the team members for winning the championship by working relentlessly the last few months, while still having lots of fun.

 

You deserve it!

 

You went through lots of ups and downs but you never gave up. Now you guys are the FLL Irvine Champions!

 

You guys rock!

 

I want to congratulate all the parents for supporting and fostering the notion that hard work combined with intelligence, teamwork and ethics always pay off eventually.

 

Way to show the kids on keeping up the commitment.

Now, back to the next steps J

 

1.       Let's meet tonight with Ken and Anne (yet to see confirmation from them but I assume they will be there. Will remind them again) to decide what to do with the project

2.       You had evinced interest in developing the auto-brake robot; Whoever is interested can start, by the weekend

3.       Tweak the robot to do all the missions

4.       Review lessons learned from the interviews and refine it further for the San Diego event

 

The Irvine FLL competition round was a great start. Let's do even better and give all our best at the San Diego event.

Lets meet tomorrow morning at 8am as usual and review what we did well and not so well so we can course correct for the San Diego event.

Given that Ken is not available this week or the next we need to hold off on major changes to project. We will consolidate the mission so we do get 440 or 460 points that we have designed for, and update the slides if needed.
