Mudah2an berita dibawah bisa membuat rekan2 di camp bersabar sedikit, karena ada action plan yang lagi dilakukan urgently guna mengatasi masalah meal di wisma Rayah/Prima. Kalian bisa langsung deal dg Kak Anna guna menentukan rombong apa yang harus diprovide to mess hall. Ntar kalau ada coto makasar atau nasi kuning enak saya akan ikut sarapan di Mess WR.

I do agree with the points and suggestions that you make and for your information the following two stage plan has been agreed in principle early this morning after I had briefed YSB (Anna) and Shane Volk who was going to speak with Pak Sony:
o Stage 1 – YSB in the next 48 hours and as a matter of urgency, has been asked to arrange for 5-6 good quality and hygienic pedagang kaki lima (PKL)/stan makanan /kios inside or near each of the Rayah and Prima messes in order to sell the types of food that you mention below from at least 5:00 am in the morning and during other meals times when the messes used to be open. Anna was due to meet with some potential service providers this morning and I am awaiting for her feedback.
o Stage 2 – YSB, will offer a business development opportunity to K3PC to fund, develop and professionally manage a food court in each camp mess, based on maximum use of local service providers. It is expected that this will take few months to materialise, including messes renovation during which time the interim Stage 1 arrangements for food in camp locations will apply. Note: K3PC will be allocated initial five year management rights at the specific request and authority of KPC Managing Director because of the utmost urgency of materialising the proposal.

I know that the MD has already asked you to give priority to this project both in the immediate and medium term and your urgent attention to this matter will be most appreciated by all camp residents.

Seems to me condition in Wisma Rayah have created grievance for all resident. Some of my Engineers that live in the camp have asked if I could do something for them. We need to assist them as soon as possible particularly with meals. We need to understand that quality of their life will drop significantly if we expect them to catch the taxi to find the meal, most of the resident are not entitle for LV. There is no quality food sold nearby, I remember when I live in camp I need to take breakfast early 5:30 to 6:30 to enable us catch the bus that arrive in the office at 7:00 am. There is no taxi operating on that time. Are we expect them to eat Supermi every morning?. I don’t think so. Ok for lunch they can ask office boy to buy from padang restaurant, Another problem is for dinner, they need to catch the taxi another time, find the meal (not many option available). What will happen if they need to do it everyday??.
One suggestion from me to allow private such as K3PC as soon as possible to open the food court commercially in the Mess, K3PC can bring partner that able to provide reasonable priced-hygiene quality wide variety of food for residents. Food providers which selected carefully by private body that we authorize, will compete commercially. Only those offer quality can survive.
In the morning some stand open for nasi Goreng/nasi kuning or Coto makasar etc, For lunch and Dinner stand padang Food, of Gado2, etc. Resident may elect to buy from food court or find somewhere else.

Bang Dasril dan Mbak Retno,
Ini berita terbaru tentang perkembangan Camp dan servicenya
Saya rasa dengan perkembangan seperti ini akan banyak berimbas pada KPC
Antara lain :
1. Dengan mengelurkan memo seperti attachment, maka dapat diartikan pengubahan secara sepihak oleh managemen atas kontrak kerja yang di tandatangani oleh pribadi masing-masing karyawan, dan apakah ini jadi pelanggaran terhadap kontrak ?
2. Dengan mempercepat proses pengalihan camp, tidak sesui dengan PKB, padahal masalah camp akan di bahas lebih lanjut dalam perundingan PKB tahun 2007
3. Sebenarnya point penting yang harus menjadi concern adalah, nilai jual KPC ketika merekrut atau mempertahankan karyawan akan sangat berkurang. Saya tidak terbayang lulusan kita akan mau untuk gabung dengan KPC jika tidak tidak ada fasilitas camp
4. Dan dari diskusi yang berkembang di camp, dengan adanya memo terbaru seperti attachment, saya melihat akan terjadinnya eksodus besar-besaran dari KPC
Mohon saran dan tanggapan dari Mbak Retno dan Bang Dasril
Harus kemana dibawa permasalahan ini, apa jalur sarikat, atau seperti apa ?
