Teamworkcooperation stressed; each team member is valued for his or her unique contributions. Be careful, take the time to do things right. Problem-solving, creative thinking encouraged. Finish your job first before doing what you want.

Bob and Wendy model a can-do attitude, work hard, and are good leaders who solve problems with creative thinking. Their construction-vehicle friends are cheerful, helpful members of the team who sometimes get into trouble but fix their mistakes and learn from them.

In a book of dinosaur facts, a cartoon T. rex looks somewhat fierce; it's mentioned that the species ate other dinosaurs, and there's a picture of the T. rex chasing a smaller dinosaur. Also in the book, a large dinosaur goes after a stegosaurus but runs away, scared off because it thinks the stegosaurus is bigger than it really is.

Parents need to know that Bob the Builder: The Big Dino Dig features all the favorite characters from the popular preschool TV show. There's no objectionable content, although pictures in a book show dinosaurs chasing each other. Bob, Wendy, and the team of construction-vehicle friends are positive role models for kids, and there are many great messages about teamwork, getting the job done, and learning from your mistakes. At the end of the credits is a catchy musical number featuring the three diggers. To stay in the loop on more movies like this, you can sign up for weekly Family Movie Night emails.

Bob and his building team are asked to help construct a brand-new amusement park. Everyone's surprised when they dig up a dinosaur skeleton as they're clearing the land. The owner decides to make dinosaurs the amusement park's theme, and the team finds creative ways to incorporate the fossils they find into the rides. To get the job done, they'll have to work together, and each team member has to contribute his or her own special abilities. Can they build it? Yes, they can!

Fans of the Bob the Builder TV show will enjoy what's basically an extended episode. Structured in six parts, each one presents a team member who's having a problem, such as thinking he or she doesn't need any help or feeling left out, and they all learn a lesson as they work together to get the job done. Taken all together in one sitting, it can get a bit repetitive and tedious, but preschoolers are unlikely to notice. Still, it makes it easy to pause the movie after each part and encourage some non-TV activities in between viewing sessions.

Naturalis Biodiversity Center, located in Leiden the Netherlands, is the national research institute for biodiversity and responsible for one of the biggest natural history collections in the world, counting over 42 million different objects. This includes a 66 million year old T. rex skeleton which was discovered in 2013 in Montana US, and other dinosaurs such as a Triceratops nicknamed Dirk. After a construction period of 2 years, Naturalis has opened the doors to a completely new museum.

The skeleton of Dirk was dug up near Newcastle, Wyoming, US. The animal lived about 67 million years ago. When working on the skeleton it became clear that some bones were missing, including a number of ribs, one of the horns and a large part of the skull. Naturalis wanted to reconstruct the skeleton of Dirk to put on display it in their newly opened museum. With modern technology such as 3D scanning and large scale 3D printing, they were able to complete the skeleton of Dirk.

For Naturalis it was really important that every little detail of the bone was visible in the 3D printed part so they have been 3D printing the parts in the highest quality possible. Some of the bones have a complex shape and needed to be printed with support structure. After printing, the support was removed and the bones were painted by hand by Remmert Schouten from Nichecraft. Because the bones show every little detail and look like real bones, Naturalis has chosen to paint the bones in a slightly lighter colour than the actual bones so visitors can tell the difference.

Although Dirk has just been completed, the Builder Extreme 1500 PRO is already fully booked for another big project Naturalis is working on. The Builder Extreme 3D printer is displayed in LiveScience gallery of the new Naturalis museum as an ongoing demonstration to the public how missing parts are printed and fitted in dinosaur skeletons.
