The new S2 site is launched. Please go check out it, and be sure to let me know of any bugs you might come across. I'll be making a list of tweaks, improvements, and fixes for v2.

I think just send them here, and if you could also list any that come in on FB, I'd appreciate it. I haven't used FB in years and I'm afraid I'll miss any comments those folks might make.

the "edit profile" function doesn't provide any opportunity to edit text, just an opportunity to start from scratch.  If you leave any fields blank, it will delete them in the profile.  At least when I tried it.

I can forward anything interesting from FB.

It looks like the name of the site is "Snail Mail" from the left-hand menu and tab name.
The edit boxes should be re-sizeable when making or editing profiles.

if I click the pencil icon the only field "prefilled" is my email address.  (Screenshot attached). If I click on "update" the way it is now, everything will be blanked.
Should I try a different browser? (Tried firefox)

I can edit fine on Firefox on Windows. Haven't tried mobile, but I can see and change existing info.

That's already being fixed, lol. That's from the very first iteration and we both missed it.

Sean, for the resizeable profile boxes, do you mean dynamically? I noticed that for the address that once you hit a third line it got crowded. So it should resize automatically?

I'm using Firefox on my phone and didn't notice any issues with updating my profile. Has anyone else had a problem?

The edit boxes can just be draggable to resize. I know I've seen that type of dialog before and it's pretty convenient. If not, then it should start a little bigger, because it has a pretty large gutter to it and you can only see 2-3 lines at once. -Sean

Ok, the ability to update your name and resizeable text boxes in your profile will be added soon. Developer is working on it now.

Yeah, I want comments to link to the profile and to send notifications that you've gotten a comment, but I think those are improvements, not fixes. They're on the list!

Super minor thing I noticed (using chrome on mobile), the 3 line menu button: it shows as the 3 lines when you first login, then when you click it to open the side menu,  it stays as the 3 lines, but when you select one of the options and go to that page, the menu button is now an X. Then it changes back to the 3 lines when the menu is open...I feel like it should be the opposite (an X when menu is open, 3 lines when menu is closed). Hopefully that makes sense haha

Laura, I'm not sure I love that the "Description field" collapses everything down by removing carriage returns. I like to make simple lists, so we could either add some level of Markup perhaps, or just allow the CR/NL to stay. For the "improvements" list.

Ha! I was still waiting on that. I should have refreshed periodically. After a refresh, I see the resizing. It's exactly what I expected, however it's constrained horizontally by the modal dialog it's in. It resizes vertically, though!

OK, I finally got logged on.
Some profiles have interest "balloons" comprised of white text against black.  How do I do this?  I've edited INTERESTS, clicked UPDATE, but nothing apoears.

I was wondering that too. When I first signed-on I thought it was another textual box and wrote some groovy stuff that disappeared. So now I'm wondering if it works like tagging on other sites where you say "fill in the blank," and put the comma in and then add another blank to fill in with another comma and that makes it a tag. I haven't tried it yet, but that was one of my ideas. ^_^

I figured out the interests!  So, to get to the "Interests" box I had to start at the previous one and hit "tab". Then I wrote the interest and pressed enter and it made an "X" next to the interest. Then I kept listing the interests and pressing enter to make the list that way. Glad you asked because that made me keep playing with it until I figured it out. ^_^

For the forgotten password function, you may want to re-phrase it to something like "If that e-mail is associated with an account, a reset password link has been sent"? That way if someone goes and puts an e-mail in it's less immediately obvious if that person has already registered for an account (e.g. less linked data to outsiders about users).
