Hey folks,
There is now a beta release of Send Later for Thunderbird
115. Keep reading for additional details about this release. It's
not posted on addons.thunderbird.net yet because I want to get
some feedback from a limited subset of users before making it
generally available.
You can download the XPI file from here and then drag and drop it onto the add-ons management page in TB115 to install it. You will probably want to quit and restart Thunderbird after doing that.
Please report any issues you encounter with this release either
as a GitHub
issue (preferred) or via email
(or you're welcome to ask questions on this list, of course).
You can now support future development and maintenance of Send Later by donating to Extended Thunder Inc., the non-profit charitable organization which supports Send Later. Donations to Extended Thunder are tax-deductible in the United States to the extent permitted by law. You can donate via Liberapay (recurring) or PayPal (one-time).
Note that Jonathan Perry-Houts, who took over from me as maintainer of the add-on starting with Thunderbird 68, has stepped down, and I have resumed maintaining it.
The XPI link above is the same one you can access from the GitHub release page for this release.
Here's the description of this release, copied from that page:
This is a beta release which includes a number of reliability and robustness improvements over the previous release as well as a first pass at supporting Thunderbird 115. This release only supports Thunderbird 115 and newer; it does not support Thunderbird 102.
Caveats and known issues regarding Thunderbird 115:
It is not possible in Thunderbird 115 for add-ons to add custom columns to the message list, so this functionality has been removed. It will be restored for a later Thunderbird release when it is possible. In the meantime, you can see a list of scheduled messages by clicking on the Send Later button in the main Thunderbird window.
While the "Send Later" value for a message is displayed in the message header in the main Thunderbird window, the display is currently a bit sloppy (the label and value appear on separate lines instead of a single line). This will be fixed in a later release when it is possible.
Bug fixes in this release (eventually these fixes will also be released in a version that is compatible with Thunderbird 102):
