Bug and /or memory leak?

It started a few days ago. When I went into the drafts folder, no message would load for viewing and the memory would climb from about 20% usage to 80% and still climbing with Thunderbird almost totally unresponsive. I shut of Send Later and the problem was no more. I tried to go back to 9.05 with the same results but I didn't give that a great try

I uninstalled send later, clipped the left over entries in the "extensions" folder in my profile then reinstalled. Problem came back. I shut of all extensions and all was well until I turned on send later as the only extension and the problem was there

The problem doesn't start until I view the Drafts folder. I tried with this message in another drafts folder and saving it was fine. When I used send later to it, the problem came back

I think I have narrowed it down to Send Later ...
