Show Send Later Column

hi!

in my thunderbird (v.78.5) with send later extension (v. 8.1)

i am not able to disable the Send Later Column.

i mean that even if it is disabled in the preferences of the extension,
it appears in the thread pane.

I've updated to Thunderbird 78.5 too, but I can't invoke Send Later. When I push the send button, it goes without the SL pane showing up.

This isn't a crisis but I count on SL to remind myself to check that I really want to send now.

This is probably https://github.com/Extended-Thunder/send-later/issues/120. We are hoping that the behavior will be improved in the next release. If it doesn't get better after the next Send Later update, please add a comment on that ticket, or if you don't want to deal with creating a Github account, you can email me and I'll add a comment to it for you. Unfortunately not everyone has this issue so I can't determine for certain myself whether the next release will fix it for everyone.

If you've confirmed that you have version 8.1 of the Send Later add-on, then this is probably https://github.com/Extended-Thunder/send-later/issues/124. You can confirm by checking if the "Send Later" button is present in your compose window toolbar. If not, right-click on the toolbar, select "Customize", drag and drop the "Send Later" button from the customization palette onto the toolbar, and close the customization palette. We're hoping this will be better in the next Send Later release, but it appears to be at least in part due to a bug in Thunderbird itself, so what we can do about it is limited until that is addressed.

I have it now.

I went to customize, but Send Later wasn't shown. I hit the Reset Default Set button and it showed up. I moved Send Later to the tool bar and removed the plain Send from the tool bar.

Now it works. Hurrah!

yes, it is. in fact after one opens a mail, the column disappears.
it is not a big trouble, "send later" instead is a most useful extension...!
