I am a relatively casual Solitaire Enjoyer. I know enough to win at Klondike pretty often, and also that I enjoy Tri-Peaks more. My bona fides on this are not the strongest but I do enjoy a deal accompanied by a cup of coffee. Zachtronics solitaire games, of which one was included with each of his mainline titles until they were eventually bundled together, are often engaging enough that my coffee goes cold.
Inside you will find seven totally unique solitaire games originally designed as minigames for our 2016 - 2022 releases, updated with new 4K graphics, plus one brand new solitaire variant found only in this collection.
I ended up doing something similar on the pause screen to remove all the color from the blocks as a sort of vague anti-cheat mechanism, which seems to be common in the action puzzle genre. I had originally tried to hide all of the block symbols when pausing, but updating all those tiles took too many frames and felt bad.
The project began when Zach created a mockup of SHENZHEN SOLITAIRE, the solitaire minigame from our game SHENZHEN I/O (also available as a standalone game), as it might look running on a 256-color VGA display:
Arriving on September 6, this is a bundling of all their popular solitaire games they snuck into their other older games. However, they've also gone and updated them with "4K graphics" and added a bonus new solitaire variant you will only find in this big collection.
