FYIO:

So waking up in a 'smart home'.

Sleep rhytm is monitored using a Google display which located on a
distance can detect and store information about the sleep.

First saying 'OK Google Study on', which will switch on different
lights (Philips Hue) at a certain intensity and color, television /
monitor, via voice controlled switches which switch on e.g. fluorescent
lamps, Dyson fan for air control, switching off cameras, ...

Very many things are controlled in the smart home by voice control
(typically Google voice, otherwise sometimes Alexa (e.g. for weather
forecast using Netatmo hardware ('Alexa Outside rain', 'Alexa inside carbon dioxide', ...)). Apple HomePod also, but not really
used).

One can create multiple action commands in the 'Google Home' app,
choose 'Procedures', give the procuedure a name, then say

 'OK Google <your procedure name>'

Using hardware switches one can switch on using Google voice basically
any mains controlled apparatus or machine.
E.g. 'OK Google Turn switch 1 on'
E.g. 'OK Google Turn switch 1 off'

E.g. to switch the printer on saying 'OK Google Printer on'.

Creating coffee automatically by saying 'OK Google Coffee on' using the
Smarter coffee machine (one can fill the water tank for a couple of
days, and keeping coffee beans in the reservoir).

Putting a small egg cup of water in the egg cooker, putting in an egg
and saying 'OK Google Egg on' to switch it automatically on for 10
minutes totally maximally.

Cleaning the kitchen floor one can e.g. do using the iRobot Roomba
and iRobot Braava for mopping. Starting those with Google voice commands.

Opening the curtains using e.g. the Slide, saying 'OK Google Open the
curtains'.

Switch lamps on or off 'OK Google lamp 12 off', 'OK Google light off',
'OK Google room 1 lights off', ...

All those devices are controlled via a Wi-Fi network, e.g. using
Google Nest Wi-Fi, with 2 or more extra mesh routers if a larger
area has to be covered.

Then sitting behind the 75 inch 8K Samsung televion annex monitor with
3 computers (e.g. 2 Nicrosoft Windows laptops and an Apple MacBook Air)
connected to it using HDMI cables.

The monitor windows (e.g. with TSE) on the large screen are controlled
using the AquaSnap software.

Using the Samsung 'SmartThings' app on your mobile device one can
connect to the Samsung television with Google voice.

E.g. saying 'OK Google TV' one can switch to the television part and
look at television programs, e.g. when wanting to look at American
football or American baseball games.

E.g. saying 'OK one' one can switch to computer one which then is
shown and controlled on the television/monitor.

E.g. saying 'OK two' one can switch to computer two which then is
shown and controlled on the television/monitor.

E.g. saying 'OK three' one can switch to computer three which then is
shown and controlled on the television/monitor.

In order to be able to control the 3 different computers using only 1
mouse and only 1 keyboard one can e.g. use the Dell KM7321W keyboard
and mouse which uses 1 hardware dongle to plug in the USB A port
of a computer and uses BlueTooth connection for the other computers.
One can control up to 3 computers with this system.
The switching goes by pressing up to 3 times a key on the keyboard
or up to 3 times a button on the mouse.

Maybe listening to music on your mobile telephone using wireless
earbuds (recommended as the best: Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II), press
<WindowsKey>+<K> on your keyboard to automatically get a BlueTooth menu
to select the BlueTooth. Really very good noise canceling, the best so
better concentrating when doing TSE tasks by canceling outside noises.

Then pressing a button on the computer to start the most used computer
logging in and starting TSE.

Maybe some extra terabyte harddisks (Western Digital) for your TSE
backup purposes.

Almost every task is done using or via TSE.

Then during the day using TSE to e.g.

1. -Search for information in text databases

2. -Store information in text databases

3. -Starting programs via TSE (in combination with JPSoft TakeCommand tcmd.exe and tcc.exe and aliases)

4. -On the monitor screen are therefore basically no icons at all, because everything (=aliases)
is stored in large text tables which can be edited via TSE.

5. -Storing events (event logger), that is store what you do, storing your actions.

6. -Doing actions by using TSE menus, TSE mouse, TSE keyboard, ...

When finished one can activate the necessary actions (e.g. switching lights off, switches off, informing about the
latest Google news, your agenda for the next day, ...).

In general basically one can program TSE to perform almost any computer
based task, so possibly moving one forward doing almost any task more
efficient.

So indirectly ;-)

"'TSE = dollor signs' and 'dollar signs = TSE'"

because one can do (almost) (any) task more optimal and faster,
e.g. the (text) information controlled by TSE acts like your
second memory (e.g. via your text search, grep, ...).

with friendly greetings

Interesting post, Knud.

Hmmm, maybe there should be an addition to descriptions of TSE that it
works well as a Scripting language.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scripting_language

Indeed one of the main applications I use TSE for daily is to
record audio off the web and play it back. Both of those tasks are
done by other apps but TSE is the glue, additional functionality and
UI that makes it convenient.

Yes, TSE SAL thus indirectly, it typically calls the main work horses like:

Microsoft StartPgm()

Microsoft Dos()

Microsoft PowerShell()

JPSoft tcc.exe

...

Additionally in the TSE user smart home:

-'Bosch' delivers high watt switches which are Google voice controlled. So saying e.g. 'OK Google washing machine on',  'OK Google washing machine off'.
It will detect also water overflow near the machine and optionally when implemented then doing actions like switching off the washing machine remotely.

-'Smarter' delivers also warm water kettels that are voice controlled. E.g. cooking hot water for tea automatically. So saying e.g. 'OK Google kettle on',  'OK Google kettle off'. 'OK Google what is the temperature of the kettle'. 'OK Google set the temperature of the kettle to ... degrees'.

-'DLink' offers water overflow sensors which are Google voice checkable.

Further:

-Shopping can be done online remotely e.g. at https://amazon.com . Goods are delivered usually within a day and close to free if premier customer.

-Different online food deliver systems deliver ordered food between 10 minutes and 1 hour at your doorsteps.

-For TSE it is planned in 2023 or beyond to be extended to being able to handle about 130 or more computer languages (syntax highlight, compiling and running from within TSE, library file for that language,
compiler batch file for that language, text templates for that language, ...).

Additionally in the TSE user smart home:

-Open/close sensors which can be glued on doors and windows and which are Google smart home checkable remotely.

-Fire warning systems like Google Nest (1 or more inter-connected detectors) which do regularly check about the system.

-Doorbells with remote camera, microphone and speakers,
