Hello,

I do not believe that this TSE macro is working as it should.

I have reported it before: Only initially the macro detects a changed file a few times,
after that it seems to ignore the changes in the file.

Tested:

1. chkchg.s macro is running

2. load a file in TSE 4.50.20, e.g. c:\temp\foobar.s

3. load the same file c:\temp\foobar.s in e.g. TSE 4.50 RC24.

4. change something then save the c:\temp\foobar.s file in TSE 4.50 RC24.

5. Initially in TSE 4.50.20 you will see 'reload file' (then reload the file indeed) a few times after you changed and saved the file in the other TSE editor.

6. After a while c:\temp\foobar.s in TSE 4.50.20 does not react anymore at all on
any changes done in c:\temp\foobar.s and saved in 4.50 RC24.

7. Side note: similar in Microsoft NotePad, given that you save the file
as 'ANSII' it kind of works in the beginning, but default 'UTF-8' saved
file seems not to be detected (not at all basically).

8. Side note: Also briefly tested with chkchg2.s, but same behavior.

Microsoft Windows 11 Professional.

I have asked the AI to give a solution and that version appears to work much better after some brief testing.
