Hello,

A possible tip regarding creating (TSE) windows on your (monitor) screen.

One can thus easily change your TSE window to full screen, 1/2 screen up, 1/2 screen down, 1/2 screen right, 1/2 screen left, 1/4 screen up left, 1/2 screen up right, using these (arrow) keys:

<Windows key> + <CursorUp>

<Windows key> + <CursorDown>

<Windows key> + <CursorLeft>

<Windows key> + <CursorRight>

These I used all the time for years already. E.g. TSE full screen, TSE 1/2 screen on the right and other (browser) windows on the left, ...

But there should be more sophisticated and or much easier ways of managing of those windows possible.

For example
1/4 screen down left
and
1/4 screen down right
is not possible easily on Microsoft Windows 10 out of the box as far as I know now.

So I thought that can be done better, search on the Internet and bought a couple of days ago and use now successfully e.g. AquaSnap (pro version)
which is really a production booster due and with regard to easy windows handling.

The most used option is to pull the window to the top left or top right or bottom left or bottom right.
It will the automatically size that window to 1/4 size.
So creating e.g. 4 times 1/4 sub windows on the screen very easily in that way.

Further are more of your tips (if you have any) regarding programs or methods to handle the (TSE) windows on your (monitor)screen looked forward at.

with friendly greetings
Knud van Eeden

Note: I now searched and tried again to create in an easy way (that is without manually having to drag
a window to the desired size) typically a 1/4 sized (TSE) window.

What I found out is that one can do

<Windows key> + <UpArrow>,
then
<Windows key> + <Right Arrow>
then
<Windows key> + <Left Arrow>

that will indeed create a 1/4 window on the screen.

But this does not work with a window in which TSE is running,
it only seems to work with a browser window (e.g. Chrome running in it).

It using a TSE window it all the time only resizes to a 1/2 window on the screen,
not a 1/4 window.

The best I can get using the <Windows key> is a 1/4 (e.g. browser) window *somewhere* on the
monitor screen.

Trying to move that window again using the Windowskey+arrows key (according to the support information in the URL above) only resizes it to 1/2 window
size instead of moving it e.g. to that corner.

Bottom line: quickly creating 1/4 size (snap) windows out of the box seems not really possible on Microsoft Windows 10.

Note: A next possible step would be to create also 1/8 size windows quickly, but e.g. also AquaSnap seems to be limited to down to 1/4 size windows out of the box.

Operating system: Microsoft: Windows: 10: How to very quickly move the (TSE) window:
Program: AquaSnap

Very handy when having to optimize the current location of the TSE
window (e.g. especially when using a (very) large monitor or smart
television (e.g. Samsung) acting as a monitor):

a. Using keyboard keys to move the (TSE) window:

<Windows key> + <UpArrow>         Half (1/2) window top
<Windows key> + <DownArrow>       Half (1/2) window down
<Windows key> + <Right Arrow>     Half (1/2) window right
<Windows key> + <Left Arrow>      Half (1/2) window left

<Windows key> + <PageUp>          Quarter (1/4) window top right
<Windows key> + <PageDown>        Quarter (1/4) window bottom right
<Windows key> + <Home>            Quarter (1/4) window top left
<Windows key> + <End>             Quarter (1/4) window bottom left

b. Using the mouse to move the (TSE) window:

Dragging/dropping the window with the mouse to the desired location up, down, right, left)
(note: you will see an icon indicating the window size visually (e.g. 1/2, 1/4)).

The following options (location up, down, right, left on the screen)

1/2 window size
1/4 window size

Note: Smaller than 1/4 size window is not possible at this moment

FYI

That AquaSnap after longer usage I can highly recommend, it is continuously used for TSE.

You can use it e.g. to move the TSE window basically with 1 or 2 key presses in one go to e.g. 1/4 top left, 1/4 top right, 1/4 bottom left, 1/4 bottom 1/4 right on the monitor screen. The window size is immediately good, no adjustment e.g. with the mouse is necessary anymore.

A real time saver thus this TSE utility program for these types of tasks.
