Some editors have provided client server mode of
operation. Basically multiple servers can be run with
its own ID, files opened with the client can be sent
to any of the server based on the ID specified. This
can be very handy if you work with a source revision
control system like Clearcase. It will allow you to
open files from the same CC view (a different drive
under Windows) in the same editor instance. I think
it could also be useful in other cases.
Can this be achieved with a macro?
