I found a bug in my Git extension.
Because it is not my top priority to fix this unless an actual user tells me it bothers them,
I for now just documented the bug in the macro, and report its existence here.
The bug is, that while Git is loaded, it sporadically and randomly makes TSE ignore typed keys.

Do you mean while the macro is actually executing, like during a commit or pull, or at anytime? I've just started using that, but I can't be losing any keystrokes.

Actually not during any active actions, like a commit or pull, but in the background when it periodically updates its display of the git status of the current buffer.

I understand. It takes away time from the routines that read the keyboard, so a key or so might be missed.
That's not too horrible, it will just make me think my keyboard is going bad once I've forgotten about the bug. 🙂

Precisely.
And that "blocked" time is so short, that it almost never overlaps with the processing of pressed key.
But almost never is not never, and after months of working with and without Git loaded I have concluded that "I" am more fumble-fingered when Git is loaded.
Now knowing that there is at least one other actual user, I have increased the bug's priority.
