Menu option _mf_grayed_ not _mf_disabled_ request

I just for the 2nd time ran into the wish to be able to gray but not disable a menu option.
I want to suggest to the user that the menu option does not make sense in a certain situation, but to allow the user to overrule that suggestion.
Currently the _mf_grayed_ menu option implies the _mf_disabled_ menu option, and I would like these menu options to be independent of each other.
It is a tiny wish that would be nice to have,
