It's almost like you're trying to turn TSE into a baby version of emacs with all the cool macros you keep creating.

Yes, TSE is and will be or should be getting better and better in this regard and still counting...

EMACS (using ELisp as programming language) and Vim (using VimScript as a programming language)
are not TSE (using TSE SAL as a programming language) and are of course very versatile
programs, but we are very much more used to TSE, so that will be where the
focus is.

FYIO:

TSE: Can an example be supplied of a project UI including ctags for about 60 computer languages? proj0200.zip


1. I also added EMACS elisp to the about 60 computer languages in that project UI.

2. Having earlier set that up in TSE (Emacs has to be installed on your Microsoft Windows computer), I can also compile and debug emacs elisp from within TSE.

3. Also syntax highlight of EMACS elisp already setup in TSE.

4. EMACS elisp in that project UI is now also ctags.exe aware (e.g put your cursor on greet
and it will move to its definition of that greet.
