Hello,

Use case = You want in an easy and quick way add new TSE compiler options to compile.dat by merging

===

Steps: Overview:

 1. -Get the output from my compile.dat to txt

 2. -Edit it and create e.g. new entries

      E.g.

Extension=.java
Description=Java: Knud
Command=javac.exe &fn& > &output&
Output=Tee Output, Run Hidden and Don't Prompt After Shell
 -Error=^{.*}:{[0-9]#}:\c
  Error: Options=i
  Error: Extra line (default empty line)=
 -FileName=
  FileName: Options=
  FileName: Tag=1
 -Line=
  Line: Options=
  Line: Tag=2
 -Column=^ @\c\^
  Column: Options=
  Column: Tag=-1
 -Message={.*}$
  Message: Options=
  Message: Tag=1
User Macro=
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 3. -Highlight the block and run the text to compile.dat conversion program

      E.g.

       chanblab.s

 4. -Save the resulting buffer in a new directory

      E.g. save as

       c:\temp\ddd04\compile.dat

 5. -Then choose menu TSE > Macro > Compile Menu > Advanced Setup > Merge Data File

 6. -Paste the path to your compile.dat

 7. -TSE will automatically merge the result

 8. -Tested successfully on
     Microsoft Windows 10 Professional (64 bits)

with friendly greetings
