Hello,

FYIO:

More background and explanation:

It is thus all about how TSE behaves unchanged out of the box.

Of course it is very well known that TSE keys are fully configurable.

TSE is thus foremost an application running on Microsoft Windows.

In basically almost any applicable Microsoft Windows application (text editors, word processors, ...) these actions cut / copy/ paste /select all / undo are presented out of the box by those very well known standardized keys ctrl x / ctrl c / ctrl v / ctrl a / ctrl z.

Additionally these keys can all be used with the fingers of only one hand (left hand) and those keys XCVAZ are earlier chosen deliberately very close together on the keyboard.

It is thus all about standardizing and aligning the default applicable out of the box TSE keystroke behavior, as it is mostly and by majority being run on Microsoft Windows and then immediately TSE is behaving accordingly
and the user can use this kind of built in in the TSE user hands key actions out of the box because of its very frequent usage in applications on Microsoft Windows basically everywhere.

Out of the box TSE applies thus always by default the default settings in this .ui file: tse.ui.

One could count how often one is using the keys for cut / copy/ paste /select all / undo actions versus almost any other key action and they would be on the very top of the list.

So basically a very common standardization and adaptation to most frequent usage of those keys request.

with friendly greetings
