Is it possible to easily edit or modify the internal help files on TSE (menus, submenus, content) that appears with F1?

The operative word is "easily". I know that it's possible, but on a practical note, is editing the help or adding new information something that can be done without much effort, or would it take a lot of time and effort?

I am asing because I used to use Multi-Edit for DOS, and at that time it was very easy to modify the help menus and create new ones. In fact, users used to share their modifications and supplementary files on the support web site. I had a highly-customized help menu that I was very happy with. When they transitioned to Multi-Edit for Windows, editing the help menus was extremely difficult, and it was impossible to import my customizations.  So what's the possibility of editing the help files in TSE?

The short answer is no.

In TSE the help stored in the help\*.hlp files, which als include meta data and are decompressed one-way to be shown to us, and the (de)compression algorithms are not available to us.

I have an eHelp macro in development that will provide what you and I want, but it is not finished.

I temporarily postponed it to work on two short fun macros, and to work on one big macro that I have a more urgent need for.

After that it is next on my list,
Carlo
