I'm happy to invite you to participate to ReAnimate'25: the 2025 Summer School on Retro Gaming History, Critique, and Development. For the second year, ReAnimate will bring together humanities and engineering to provide unique insights on retro gaming, both theoretical and practical, and opportunities for cross-fertilisation among research fields. In particular this year, we share a keynote with the conference of the Canadian Game Study Association (CGSA), and we will develop from scratch a game for a surprise retro-platform!
