Also, for a project in connected health done at the LATECE lab (www.latece.uqam.ca), we need a part-time software engineering research assistant (we could take you full-time, but you should be making progress on your thesis!) to help us develop a “digital behaviour change intervention platform” (an annoying application to help you stop smoking, exercise more, etc.) that “embodies the latest advances in behaviour change theory …” blabla bla. Requirements: advanced (back-end) development skills in Java, and being able to understand and reason about object models that are more complex than the proverbial library system or customer/product/shopping cart.
