I am recruiting a fully funded PhD student to join my research group at Concordia University (Montréal, Canada) for a funded research project:
Ethics Testing: Proactive Identification of Generative AI System Harms
This project is supported by the New Frontiers in Research Fund (NFRF), which supports world-leading interdisciplinary, international, high-risk/high-reward, transformative Canadian-led research.
The research aims to develop novel techniques to systematically identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential harms in generative AI systems. The project lies at the intersection of Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Software Testing, AI Safety, and Responsible Computing, with the goal of improving the reliability, safety, and trustworthiness of AI-assisted software development.
We are looking for motivated students with interests in one or more of the following areas:
The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Computer Science or a related field and be enthusiastic about conducting impactful research in the rapidly evolving area of trustworthy AI.
