Hi all,
This is a reminder that we'll have our next SEMTL meeting next Wednesday morning, 09:00 to 12:00. The location is Polytechnique Montréal (M-1010), as part of the 3rd day of the SEMLA symposium.
The SEMLA symposium focuses on 'Engineering Trustworthy and Cost-Effective AI Multi-Agents', with speakers from Meta, Amazon, Mozilla, Databricks, ServiceNow, UAlberta, Imperial College London, UVanderbilt, and UDalhousie (among others). However, we'll also have other software engineering topics as part of SEMTL.
In particular, I'm looking forward to Prof. Maxime Lamothe's SEMTL keynote on 'Just Fax It Over: Why Digitalizing Municipalities Is Hard', which will have insights gathered from an ongoing project of why it's difficult to apply software engineering research in practice.
If you have not registered for SEMTL, please do this today, using the free code previously sent. I also encourage you to register for SEMLA itself, using the student or academic rates.
If you have any questions, please send me an email.
Thanks, and I hope to see you next week.
