2. In a blender or whisking by hand, combine your vanilla (or almond) extract, 6 eggs, 5 tbsp. sugar, milk, kirsch, and salt and whiz for a few seconds until blended. Then add the flour and blend for one more minute until smooth. Let the batter rest while you prepare the cherries.
3. Melt the butter in your cast iron skillet (or any oven proof skillet or pan), making sure to coat the pan and the sides very well. Once the butter starts bubbling, add your cherries, coating them and cooking for about 2 minutes. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar and continue cooking for one more minute.
Start by adding the cherries and drained pineapple into a deep square baking dish that is well sprayed with non stick cooking spray. Next, slowly top with one pack of cake mix speak evenly across the fruit and pressed down a bit. Then, sprinkle about 3 tablespoons of pineapple juice over the top. Finally, evenly distribute pieces of the butter all over the top of the cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-65 min or until golden brown on top. Serve hot with ice cream or whip cream. Enjoy!!!!

IMd have to make them with another fruit though, for there is something about cooked cherries that reminds me red wine and doesn't appeal to me in a dessert...
But the are soooo pretty and dainty, I'd surely try them with raspberries or currant... or some cute fruit!

A female Earth pony with Cherry Berry's likeness was released as a mystery pack toy in January 2012. The toy uses the Pinkie Pie mold, but its cutie mark is similar to Cherry Berry's and it features Cherry Berry's color scheme, with the exception of the eye color, which is green in contrast to the show's grayish indigo. Berries N' Cherries is hot pink with magenta, white and bright green hair. Her eyes are chartreuse and her cutie mark is a bright pink cherry with a bright pink raspberry and three small flowers. She had no on-screen appearances.
They should be on their own roots. Some romance cherries like crimson passion are reportedly less hardy than others. It might make sense to graft cp. Western sand cherry is not compatible. Sand cherry can be used in many plum grafts but not cherry. They could use Evans or something similar as rootstock for romance cherries but I doubt they would. Carmine jewell , juliet and others make sense on their own roots
Cherry Berry was released as a regular size brushable pony in 2012 as a Wedding Single. As opposed to her 2011 Blind Bag release, her eyes are purple (instead of green) and her cutie mark is slightly different too.
Cherry Crash went to Fall Formal in a sleeveless pink top and layered grey skirt. On her neck she wore a necklace bearing twin cherries, her cutie mark. Her boots were a dark green. Cherry Crash and the rest of the student body were hypnotized by Sunset Shimmer. Later, Cherry Crash participated in a conga line between Rarity and Crimson Napalm.
