Dear all,
We'll meet again next Tuesday, this time at 9 AM in the EE conference
room.
I'd like to discuss Y.K. Liu's paper on the rank-restricted isometry
property of random Pauli measurements:
http://arxiv.org/PS_cache/arxiv/pdf/1103/1103.2816v1.pdf
The work is motivated by quantum state tomography, but the result
raises some very interesting possibilities for other applications. We
can discuss a bit on the technicalities, and also think about how the
result might be used.
In the meantime, if anyone has suggestions for upcoming weeks, please
let me know. Hope to see you on Tuesday!
Best,
John
