What is needed to succeed?

As a technical writer you have a successful track record of producing high quality end-user documentation and procedures for a highly technical audience.

A passion for contributing to and following the documentation processes, standards, templates and styles. Having worked in a fast-paced environment with changing demands and priorities is a comfortable environment for you.

Being a self-motivated, well organized individual with a commitment to quality and an exceptional eye for detail gives you the ability to work independently and remotely at times.

Your personality and working style allows for flexibility in order to adapt to changing requirements, scope, and schedules. If so you should also be able to have the ability to manage multiple projects and assess priorities.

What technical knowledge will allow you great success?

• A minimum of five years technical writing experience.
• Experienced in documenting software/hardware applications.
• Experience in creating graphics & screen captures for technical illustrations.
• Experience in the Information Technology and/or Semiconductor sectors is preferred.
• Structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar is essential.
• Expert knowledge of Visio and MS Word.
