Job Description:

Work as part of software team to define advanced high-end tools for
internal use by hardware engineering teams. The job involves
understanding the requirements from the engineering teams and
architecting and designing software tools that are scalable and easy
to use.

Job Functions include:

· Working with internal hardware design teams to understand the
requirement for software tools in domains such as Signal Integrity and
System Engineering

· Architecting and developing a scalable software design that can be
reused for various products

· Developing firmware, device drivers, GUI and tool development

· Developing regression suites and testing of tools

· Documenting the software functionality and internal design



Requirements:

· Electrical/Electronic Engineering with anywhere between 4 - 7 years
of experience in software development

· EDA tools development is must

· Experience in software language such as C++, System C , scripting
language such as Pearl and Assembly level programming

· Working with embedded systems including device driver, firmware,
GUI and backend development is a plus

· Experience in Unix and Windows environment

· Experience working in a multi-site environment

About 5 years experience in Verification of SoC
* Should have experience with architecting atleast one Verification
Environment either at IP level or SoC level
* Experience with Bus protocols such as PCI, PCIe, AMBA AXI, AHB, APB
* Exposure to System Verilog and VMM
* Experience with ARM based SoC Verification
* Should have worked on Gatelevel simulations bring up and debug
* Experience with Perl and TCL scripting languages
