5 Page Limit on System Overview Papers

Dear Task 5 Organizers,

I am writing on behalf of "Sabanci_group5" team. We would like so much if you let us know if the 5 page limit includes the appendices or not. We are in the intuition that it does include the references but not the appendices, but a clarification would help a lot.

Thanks for the immediate response. What I wanted to ask was if the page limit is "5 pages including the appendices" or "5 pages excluding the appendices". However, it is already stated in the requirements page that references and appendices do not count. Sorry for the confusion, we will finalize our paper accordingly.

As by the requirements described by the SemEval organizers, only "[a]cknowledgments, references, and appendices do NOT count toward page limits." (https://semeval.github.io/paper-requirements.html)
