If your paper
is accepted, you'll have the opportunity to present it at the SemEval workshop, colocated with ACL 2026, in a poster session. It'll be held in San Diego, California, USA,
on July 3-4 (over 2 days).
If you're not presenting, consider attending. The workshop program includes:
- System description papers will be part of the poster session (in person/gather)
- Task description papers are part of the oral session (15 minutes, including QA)
- Best papers (per task) will also be part of the oral session (5 minutes)
Consider this an opportunity to learn, develop your academic career, influence fellow researchers (who will consider your work in the future when building their own), and network. You can also take advantage of the opportunity to attend the main conference, ACL, as well as tutorials or other workshops.
We are aware that it can be complicated and expensive to participate (visa, plane tickets, staying in San Diego, workshop registration, and other costs), but you can explore multiple ways to do so. The registration can sometimes be waived by volunteering to help at the conference. You may be able to obtain funds from your organization (e.g., university, research center, company, research lab, or professor) or from other entities (e.g., government agencies or SemEval itself). If you're considering presenting, we encourage you to seek funding.

On an unrelated note, all paper authors,
please obtain an ORCID ID and list it on your OpenReview and Softconf profile pages. ORCID is an international system of persistent author identifiers. The
ACL Anthology (which will archive the SemEval workshop proceedings with your paper) and many other publishers now use this to unambiguously associate authors with publications.
