Reminder of Timelines and Successful Submission Confirmation

Dear all, 

Understandably, some of you are worried about the correctness of your submissions. I know this is hard because you cannot see your results. Please be assured that if the status of your submission is "Finished", then your submission has been successfully submitted and will be considered for the evaluation phase of the competition. 

If your submission has NaNs in it, or otherwise has errors, I will email you flagging this error - I will get in touch with you on the email you provide on CodaLab from the Sheffield email id (h.tayyar...@sheffield.ac.uk), so please add it to your address book so it doesn't end up in spam. 

About the timelines for the task: 

1. The practice phase of the task (which has a visible leaderboard so you can improve your models) will be closed at 8pm UTC on the 30th of January. This is to make sure that there is no confusion on where to submit your final results on the last day of the competition. 
2. The deadline to register your team using this Google Form is the 30th of January 2022 11:59pm UTC. 
3. The deadline to submit your results on the test set to CodaLab is the 31st of January 2022, 11:59pm UTC. 

If there is a problem with CodaLab just before the deadline (and you cannot submit there for some reason), please email me your submission (exactly as you would upload it) to h.tayyar...@sheffield.ac.uk with the subject "Submission: SemEval 2022 Task 2 <your team name>". This does not extend the deadline, I must receive your email before 11:59pm UTC on the 31st of January 2022.
