I see from the task site the deadline for system description and
analysis papers is April 10.

How many pages may those be, and will the results of the task and/or
gold standard data be available prior to that deadline?

Thanks!
Ted

Hi Ted,

the number of pages, I guess, will be decided by the semeval organizers. As for the results, they should be out this week.

Best,
Roberto

Hi Roberto,

It looks like the organizers have posted a call for papers - system
descriptions are 4 pages + 2 for references. Additional details can be
found here :

http://www.cs.york.ac.uk/semeval-2013/index.php?id=cfp

Thanks!

Is there a reference we can use for the overall task description paper (for our system description papers)?

Thanks!

Hi Ted,

this is actually a question we should all ask the Semeval organizers. Maybe you can pave the way? :-)))

Best,
Roberto

Yes, I can certainly ask about a general Semeval-2013 reference/paper!
I will report back what I find.

I was also wondering if there will be a task 11 description paper that
we can cite (by the organizers of the task)?

Thanks,
Ted

Excellent! :) I would of course like to cite that paper in my system
description, so if you have authors, title, etc. that's what I was
wondering about...

Ted,

here is the reference to our system paper:

Roberto Navigli and David Jurgens. SemEval-2013 Task 11: Evaluating Word Sense Induction & Disambiguation within An End-User Application. Proceedings of the 7th International Workshop on Semantic Evaluation (SemEval 2013), in conjunction with the Second Joint Conference on Lexical and Computational Semantcis (*SEM 2013), Atlanta, USA, 2013.

Thanks!
Roberto

SORRY! I made a mistake, confusing task 11 with 12!!!

The correct reference to our system paper:

Roberto Navigli and Daniele Vannella.

Thanks!
