Mapping of Induced Clusters to Gold Standard Clusters

Hi,

I have two questions:

(1) For a WSI system, is the gold standard number of senses an information available to the system, e.g. for target word "the block" which has say 6 gold standard senses, can a WSI system use this information (that it has 6 gold standard senses)?

(2) If a WSI system learns 20 senses for a target word, and the gold standard has only 6 senses, is there any form of mapping to convert the 20 induced clusters to the 6 gold standard clusters?
