Extension of Full Paper Submission Deadline: The 1st ASEAN International Conference on Islamic Finance

The 1st ASEAN International Conference on Islamic Finance (1st AICIF) is the premiere forum for the presentation of advancement of ideas, thoughts, industry case studies and findings from analytical as well as empirical using quantitative as well as qualitative methodological approaches in Islamic Banking and Finance, not only the issues in ASEAN region but also from all parts of the world.
There will be research-in-progress track (Colloquium) separately. This program is provided for students who would like to present researches that are still in the midst of being conducted.
Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:
Islamic Banking: Bank management, Bank marketing, Risk management, Product development, Shariah issues in Islamic banking, Corporate governance, Shariah governance, Bank’s efficiency and performance, Bank customers’ behavior, and all other issues in Islamic banking.
Islamic Finance: Global financial crisis, Islamic monetary system, Islamic capital markets, Islamic money markets, issues in Takaful, issues in Islamic unit trusts, Islamic wealth management, Market regulations for Islamic financial institutions, investment behavior, ethical issues in finance, and all other issues in Islamic finance.

Notification of Acceptance : October 6, 2013
Deadline for Presenter’s Registration : October 13, 2013
1st AICIF Conference Dates : November 6-7, 2013. (Venue: IIiBF Main Campus, Jln. Damansara 205A, Kuala Lumpur)
Paper Submission:
Formatting: A4 paper, single space, font: TNR 11, maximum 10 pages including references.
Paper structure: Title, Abstract, I. Introduction, II. Literature Review, III. Data and Methodology (for papers using quantitative methods), IV. Findings and Discussion, V. Conclusion and Recommendations.
