Just some reminders for this week...
1. Good Friday Service - 8pm in the main chapel. We will be having communion at the service. Please note that previously we asked that only baptized members of Semehahn partake in the holy ordinance, but we have now opened up communion those who are baptized followers of Christ, who:
*Please be reminded of the seriousness of this ordinance as it is not to be taken lightly!1. Affirm that the Son of God, Jesus Christ, came to earth through a virgin birth and conceived by the Holy Spirit to become the sacrifice that would make atonement for the sins of man and rose again from the dead, defeating sin and death. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, interceding for us and will one day return to judge all.
2. Have repented (turned away and actively turning away) from their sins.
3. Turned towards God in faith and trust, loving him through obedience to His Word.
27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself. 30 That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died. - 1 Corinthians 11:27 - 30
2. Combined Easter Sunday - 10:30am in the Main chapel.
3. Car-Wash Fundraiser (Saturday 4/19, 9am - 3pm - Sunoco: 10621 Baltimore Ave Beltsville, MD 20705): All money raised will be given to Truesdell Elementary School in Washington D.C. Please come help wash cars and/or have your car washed.
